Hey students and faculty! Get your photos in the yearbook! Simply go to the H.H.H.S.
homepage, click on the yearbook information link, and click on the link for uploading
images. You may also begin purchasing your 2010-2011 yearbook on-line now by
following the link from the yearbook information page. We will be selling yearbooks
next week in school for $45 each.
First Optimist Club meeting is September 10th at 7:20 in Mrs. Miller’s room.
The FFA currently has sign-up available for members for the Dale Fall Fest (table
moving, kiddie pedal pull, Betsy bingo, parade float), Wildlife Judging CDE (Career
Development Event), Soil Judging CDE, Forestry Judging CDE, Committee sign ups. Take
the chance and get involved members!
BPA Members: Don't forget to be at the Dale Park Saturday and Sunday at 6:30 am to
pick up trash. Glamorus--no--but with the right attitude it can be fun!
Boy's Basketball conditioning will begin Monday September 13th
Just a reminder that the Jostens Ring Man will be here for class ring orders on
Friday, Sept. 10th during lunch periods in the cafeteria. Don’t forget to bring your
order form and $50 deposit. Extra class ring packets are available in the office.
Natural Helpers who did not attend the meeting on Friday should stop by the guidance
office.
JUNIORS have been given information about the PSAT and ASVAB tests that will be given
on October 13. Juniors must choose which test they will take. Those taking PSAT must
pay $13 to guidance by Friday, September 10. See a counselor if questions.
INFORMATION FROM GUIDANCE:
Marian University is hosting a "Preview Day" for Juniors and Seniors on Saturday,
Sept. 11. In addition, students interested in nursing may want to attend the "Nursing
Encounter Day" on Friday Nov. 19. Contact Marian's Office of Admissions for more info.
or ask in guidance.
Vanderbilt University is hosting "Vandy Fan for a Day" on Saturday, Nov. 6 for
sophomores and juniors. See a counselor if interested.
SENIORS who still have not taken a college entrance exam: The SAT will be given at
South Spencer on Oct. 9. Deadline to register is Sept. 10. Go to
www.sat.collegeboard.com to register or pick up a packet in Guidance
College Admission Counselors will be here to meet with seniors. Please sign the sheet
in guidance to talk with the rep.
